Make Your Own Custom Song Books

fav6I’ve added a cool new feature to the website. You can now mark your favourite songs and create a custom PDF songbook with an index and page numbers!

fav5 fav3 fav4

You’ll notice ‘Add to Favourites’ links on the song pages (see the red highlights on the image to the right). Just click on it to add that song to your favourites.

Visitors can favourite songs, but only members can create custom books from their favourites. So, if you haven’t registered yet, why not?!?

Once you have favourited all the songs you would like in your custom song book, head to your favourites area. You can find various way of getting there, in the menus and your login box. See the images to the left.

You can then click the green ‘CREATE FAVOURITES BOOK’ to start the building process. It might take several seconds to complete, but you’ll see the red ‘DOWNLOAD YOUR BOOK’ button once the book has compiled. Click red download link to view, save or print your book. Cool huh   Enjoy! Neil

Fixed a little bug that snook in when I moved the code to the live server.. If you find any more problems, let me know 🙂

UPDATE: There is a bug in Chrome that causes corrupted saved PDF’s!

If you want to save your PDF in Chrome, right click the download link and choose “Save link as..“. This problem only occurs when you save from within Chrome’s PDF viewer. The bug should be fixed in the next Chrome release.

This is a cool app, thanks. 🙂

If you could click on a ‘song title’ in the index to go to it, & then click ‘back’ to get back to the index, that would make it into an awesome app.
