If you have never seen a “Concert for George” the 2002 concert to celebrate the life of the Beatle George Harrison it might be a good thing to do. I watched the celebration of a life and right at the end of the concert Joe Brown plays the ukulele for George….. I still cannot see this film clip without a tear in my eye…. so here is a youtube link and a link to the uke chords…. So have a go! A tad hard but a moving uke tribute to aim for.

I used to be a punk singer when i was in High School, but really I always wanted to learn to play an instrument. My band-mates would tentatively let me near the instruments now and again but I just seemed to lack natural talent in any of the normal fare. The desire to play and instrument of some type stuck with me.

I fell in love with Baby Uke instantly. I play her at least 3-4 hours a day now, and I’m happy to say many of my flare up symptoms are gone. My uke brings me joy. She heals me when I am sick. And she makes me smile when noting else can stop me from crying.

And bonus…I finally get to play an instrument. Take that ex-members of Field Rat! lol
