Isn’t it “One banana two banana three banana four / Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.”  In other words, the word “banana” is singular in the first line?

I’ve just typed the word “banana” more in this posting than I have in the last decade combined.  It is kind of fun to type.  Banana banana banana.
