Hope everyone is have a great Summer, and had a Happy Father’s Day this past Sunday.  I want to thank those that came out for UkeStock and look forward to seeing you all next time.. The Ukulele Club Amsterdam meets every Wednesday from now on at the Boutique View Hotel, and I hope to meet many new friends now that we have the space to grow as an organisation, Orchestra and more. We have planted many seeds here in Amsterdam, and now it is time to grow some roots..

Ukulele Orchestra of Amsterdam: New format for Club Members who wish to perform, please PM if you are interested.

Calling all people who enjoy SINGING, and or  people acoustic musicians who will agree to carry a tune  and sing at least ONE  song as well as in a chorus. Just  learning to play or play ukulele can be ok if you SING, I can teach you to do both at the same time too.. We really need Designated member as BASS player, looking for some one to play for club as well as orchestra group.

I am hoping there will be one rehearsal a month to start on Monday evening beginning in the fall, more details to follow and I may or may not have any more flexibility..

a few notes about the UkeStock program and the Wednesday Club meets… The charts in this years 2014 program are still in the editing phase as they will be compiled in the Fall with 33 more titles as a 2014 Ukulele Orchestra of Amsterdam repertoire program book; available only at the  Wednesday club meetings. All titles will be available for free on line for you to download, print, and share. Time will be scheduled for sharing new music, but please only share music you have brought enough copies to share with (6-12) members. These ‘new’ songs may or may not be added to the repertoire, but they must be formatted by admin.

The administration and printing costs of this group are not free, so we encourage donations, and euro buttons will be available as a token of our friendship.

I know Holland is playing Wednesday 21:30 so we will forgive people for NOT showing, but we will be there if just to check the place out and play a couple tunes in the space.. If no one shows after 15 minutes, we will cancel and go home..
